My fiance and I were in TJ for a doctor's appointment and my fiance highly recommended we stop by this place for the original Caesar salad. we got here a little before they opened at 12pm and they already had a small line starting to build. although they sat us almost immediately. The restaurant definitely stayed to fill up within the 1.5hourz we were there. the ambience offers a classy french bistro with old photos and dim lighting. We of course ordered the table side caeser salad which means you waiter comes and makes the caesar from scratch infront of you are table. and the salad did not disappoint! the sauce and balance was amazing and uncomparable to any other Cesar I've had before. we also tried a variety of other dishes, starting with escargot, mushrooms, and octopus. I loved that they gave you utensils to open up your own escargot which were service in yummy garlic sauce. I ordered the stuffed chicken with fig, pear, and walnut sauce (pechuga de pollo). my fiance ordered the beef wellington. my chicken was juicy and flavor packed! it definitely has an acquired taste and not for everyone but I loved it! this place is located in the heart of Downtown TJ so plenty of shopping near by as well. highly recommend stopping by if not for the caesar they have a variety of other dishes for anyone to enjoy (they have a whole pasta menu that we did not get A chance to explore). we will definitely be coming back next time we head to TJ!

Ended my MX day trip at this establishment. There was a wait, so we walked the strip. And boy oh boy the Caesar salad was divine! Clearly, this is what we came here for and it didn't disappoint. If I could I would have licked the Caesar Salad's plate! I was in a group of four, we ordered an Octopus appetizer, and a bunch of drinks and entrees. These were my two favorites worth mentioning. Portions of all the food was huge. Come and be merry!

Beautiful upscale looking hotel/restaurant. Service was great, though level of their English was bad being in TJ. The food was beyond excellent. Price was so reasonable. We had the greatest time and we will be back

Did you know the Caesar salad--a dish so common it's almost taken for granted--was invented in Tijuana? Most people don't. It's a bit of culinary trivia that adds a layer of intrigue to the experience. Crossing the border to try it at the place where it all started feels like stepping into some kind of forgotten story. And let's be honest--most Americans hesitate at the thought of walking into Tijuana. The busy streets, the vendors, the noise--it's not exactly cozy. But that's the beauty of it. Walking into Caesar's on Avenida Revolución is like hitting pause. The chaos outside gives way to a space that's all vintage charm and effortless cool. Art deco mirrors, worn wood, and the kind of dim lighting that feels intentional--it's got an old-school vibe that pulls you in. This isn't just a restaurant; it's Tijuana's classiest place. Then there's the salad. Watching it made tableside feels old-fashioned in the best way. The server doesn't rush; every ingredient gets its moment. When you take that first bite--crisp romaine, sharp and tangy dressing, just enough richness--it clicks. This is what a Caesar salad is supposed to taste like. And the beef wellington? It's the kind of dish that shuts you up. Tender beef wrapped in flaky pastry with a sauce so rich you're tempted to scrape the plate. Pair it with a bold glass of wine, and it's a wrap. Crossing into Tijuana might make some people nervous, but that's what makes it stick. Caesar's is more than a restaurant--it's an experience. The mix of grit and elegance, history and flavor, chaos and calm--it's not just a meal; it's a memory you'll carry with you.

Everyone in Mexico brags about this restaurant and it definitely live up to what was said.. I love restaurants with white linen table clothes. The service was very professional. The Ceasar salad was so good (the dressing made from scratch at your table) I wanted more but I needed to wait on my meal. I didn't want to be so full. Food was top notch I can't wait to visit again

Ordered: Ensalada Caesar's ($165 pesos): the original Caesar salad, made at the table Aya's take: You can't really come to Tijuana without trying the original Caesar salad! The ambiance feels like an old, classic steakhouse vibe with plenty of seating. The Ensalada Caesar's is more of an experience than a meal, in my opinion. The table-side "show" is pretty awesome as they give you a recipe card to take with you and then demonstrate how they make it. I typically don't have Caesar Salad with the lettuce leaves being whole but this really works. The coddled egg and anchovy fillets were not prominent in the salad at all. I thought it would overpower the dressing but not at all. The baked garlic croutons were also super delicious and much larger than any crouton you see nowadays. Probably a tourist trap but good try overall!
